Technology and Resources

Tools for assisting translation

  • We use the Trados and Wordfast computer-assisted translation tools.
  • We use the TMX standard format for memory sharing between the two applications.
  • We can consult all the Elhuyar dictionaries and terminological databases in the Multiterm format of the Trados Workbench application.
  • We have 2,781,591 segments in the translation memories belonging to the Translation Service of the Department for Language Services.
